    And we thought mail carriers and delivery personnel were the only ones watching out for aggressive pets. Now Santa has to look out for Laser Kitty. Maybe he carries a laser deflector.
    Mike, hope you, Teddy and your bunny (sorry, I forgot her name), have a very Merry Christmas and have the opportunity to be with other family members or good friends.

    I was prepping the turkey to stuff in the oven at o-dark-thirty tomorrow morning, and it occurred to me to put the giblets in the fridge for a few days, in case my owl pops by.
    Duckie is watching me set up the tree, and she has never looked more baffled and curious.

    Peeps, a Christmas Eve laugh.
    I was talking with hubby earlier, and I offered to have a bath ready for him when he gets home, after he was shoveling snow all day. I asked if he would want coffee, and he said no, but he would love some hot chocolate. We have a variety of flavoured hot chocolates, so I asked him which one. He said Duckie flavoured, and had to hang up.
    He is not aware of the fact that I have several extra packets of hot chocolates that are different colours, and I selected the turquoise one, as it matches Duckie’s feathers perfectly. Hubby will get his Duckie hot chocolate, but I will have the last laugh.
