It’s Christmas Day at Maru’s house, and he and Hana and Kitten Miri awaken to find their home transformed into a sparkling pathway aglow with light. That is, until Miri decides to have a peek at what’s behind the curtain.
After their walk, it’s time for the traditional holiday festivities, in which Maru dresses as Father Christmas. Also making an appearance is Horror Tree, a Lovecraftian abomination consisting of a sentient pine controlled by the disembodied head of Santa Claus.
But enough stalling — time to open presents! This year the trio receives a genuine reproduction antique French provincial scratching sofa.
