Links: Year of the Tiger

Tiger cub quints, magical orcas, cat with eight lives, and some days you just can’t get rid of a tree.

And finally: Some Days You Just Can’t Get Rid of a Tree!

Hmm, it looks like some folks aren’t ready to let go of 2021 yet, Murray C.

Celeste had quite the party mix of kittens!

Gorgeous babies! I’m so glad Celeste has a home now, and no more pregnancies in her future.

Dogs and their trees! I will watch over and over.

Well what did you expect, they are “police dogs” after all and it’s illegal to dump your Christmas tree over the fence into you neighbour’s yard.
They were just taking a bite out of crime 😂🤣

Tug-o-war with the tree is hilarious. May the best dog(s) win!

Celeste’s variety pack of babies made me wonder how many fathers were involved. Glad she’s off the street and in a good home.
Peeps, I made a very difficult decision this morning. I let my hubby live.
I’ve been having pre-cold symptoms for a few days now, and last night, it assaulted me with everything it had. Not covid, just cold (why the bleep will autocorrect accept covid as a word, when it’s only been in use two years, and not snorgle, which has existed forever?). Anyway, I went to bed early last night, and sweet hubby opted to join me. I was liberally coated with Vic’s Vaporub and Deep Heating Rub from my belly button up, and cuddling down in my nest drifting off, and suddenly hubby grabs my shoulder and shakes it. I shot up, and blearily looked at him, expecting him to say the place was on fire, or he’d accidentally done several somethings biological in the bed, only to be informed that I was snoring!
I was going to immediately invoke the “till death do us part” clause in our marriage vows, but decided to be unmerciful and let him live. He’ll have to put up with my having a cold, and when I’m done, I’ll give it to him and wake him up when he snores!
So many cats today. I wish I could snorgle them all at once.

      Poor Duckie, feel better.

      Glad hubby survived.

Poor Duckie!! And yes, you had every right to invoke the “do death” clause of the marriage vows. This is why hubby and I made a decision for separate rooms. I don’t have to deal with his snoring, and restless legs while he doesn’t have to deal with my tossing and turning. We both get a decent night’s sleep now. Feel better!!!

Living with a cold is the best revenge?

I stay shut in the bedroom and ignore him, and then he stays shut in the bedroom and I ignore him.

So many cuties today!! Love all the cats, and the dog “fight” was hysterical. Good thing the fence wasn’t lower or else the dogs would have fetched that tree right back. The orca photos are amazing!! I remember seeing them when we did the Alaska cruise a few years back and we got so many cool shots of them breaching, etc.

Good news – I will have new floors by the end of today at our new house!!! Plus yesterday, the car club came through and brought over 90% of all our small stuff so now I just have to book the movers for in a few weeks to haul over all the big furniture.

Congrats on all the progress with your house!

That’s excellent news! If it’s not too nosy a question, what kind of flooring did you get? I’m planning a renovation, and I find all the flooring options completely overwhelming.

You’re not being nosy and I love talking up my good experiences.I was the same way, real wood, tile, laminate??? Aaargh! So many choices. Don’t know if you have them in your area but we went with Empire Flooring Company. They were amazingly quick. Ordered the flooring on Fri and they installed today. We went with a luxury vinyl plank – Elk Grove in Natural. Had a lot of good features – scratch, stain, and UV resistant plus waterproof. Here’s a link with all the specs.

Install for two bedrooms and a small hall took about 6 hours. Good luck with your project!

Luxury vinyl is the way to go, I think. Especially if there are pets in the house.

Cats are amazing looking anyway. Adding the chimera effect just seems excessive.
