I didn’t really have the time to read the Vitamix Cat Saga, but I read it anyway, and I’m glad I did. What a hoot. All else will have to wait till I get home from WORK! My first day in more than two years at an actual work site. I’m beyond excited.
Yippee for going back to an office!!! I’m temporarily back working remote as hubby came home early from his travel job and he has cold symptoms. Just to be safe, we’re both going in for tests. Fingers crossed it’s nothing.
The cat vs box vs owner saga was pretty funny except I think the owners were milking it a little bit. There’s one quick way to end this – distract and replace. One distracts said cats with a yummy high value treat then the other grabs the box and replaces it with another box. After quickly removing the Vitamix, box is returned to the cats. Easy peasy, everyone wins, everyone is happy. Surfing kitty is one cool cat. That’s it, I need to adopt a pom pom, I’ll find a way to deal with the high maintenance grooming upkeep. That is one happy and mellow puppers.
I totally agree about distracting the kitty and replacing the box, but yeah it was a funny read!
I am pretty sure they could have solved this on day one! (At least I think so!!??) But who could resist posting this entertaining and well done saga! I enjoyed it. Particularly the in-kind response from Vitamix! 😁😸
No office for me, friends! Rehearsal room! Full of actors! All of us wearing masks, which was distinctly odd. But still … pretty wonderful.

There’s a group on Facebook called View from my Window that someone started during lockdown in 2020 and people post their views from all over the world. One woman started posting videos (taken through the window) of the bobcat mama that took up residence with her babies in her side yard (in Arizona, I believe). I really enjoyed the story it was very funny but that situation would not have perdure very long in my house because altho I adore my 2 cats, as I have had reminded them on certain occasions, “Me human, you cats. Me bigger, you move.”
