I’m so sorry. Sometimes I wonder if companies like that declare bankruptcy for the specific purpose of avoiding payouts when they are clearly in the wrong.

I’m sorry! Bankrupt doesn’t mean there’s nothing left, however. Creditors get to share what’s left, at least in the US. There are rules about who counts as a creditor and their place in line for what’s left, and other rules so you might not be totally out of luck.
I understand exactly how you feel Duckie, same thing happened to my husband won the case against the company got 0 money.
Bankrupt my Great Aunt Fanny. They pull this stuff on purpose. Commiserations, Duckie, but when you’ve had your cry, remember that you’ve been through worse and have gotten to much better. And you have Little Duckie—and us!
