“Everything is cute when it’s tiny, it doesn’t mean you take it home.” Wise words from Donna Stepan, the driving force behind Sleepy Burrows, Australia’s main wombat sanctuary. In this new video in Dutch (with English subtitles), we visit Stepan’s “high school” where orphan wombats progress from living in her shirt to graduation into the wild.

Donna is terrific! The wombats are lucky yo have her help.
But high school would have been so much better if there were wombats…
I totally agree!! Would have helped when dealing with all the idiots. Upset? Bad Exam? Go see the wombats!
I’ve put a lot of things in my bra in the past, tissues, money, keys and even a pager once but I never put anything alive and certainly nothing as cute as a baby wombat! Altho the pager was an interesting experience LOL!
Fabulous. Love this woman and her approach to wombat care. I’m also crazy for Baz.
