Let’s visit with Kotaro and Hana the house otters. We’ve come at a good time, because Hana is feeling a little lonely and could use some company. You see, she normally cuddles with her human dad, but he’s gone off to work, leaving the grumpy little girl to bury her sorrows in a box of stuffed toys.

I’d love to have those otters. They have quite the set up and seem to be very spoiled, as they should be.
Oh my goodness, the way they wrap their paws around daddy’s arm and their little squeals. Awww…
Squeaky squealing
Kotaro throwing kibble in his mouth like it was popcorn! Hana’s crushing disappointment! Then the squeaks of happiness! I swear Hana actually said “I love you” in one squeak.
But why do they have these otters as pets? Otters are wild animals; living in captivity is not recommended for them.
Such a cute grumpy face.
I wouldn’t want one as a pet, though.
