That poor baby. I can so relate when something moves unexpectedly at night, it can be scary. One time something woke me up in my NYC apartment and the way the shadows were, I was convinced someone was staring in my windows. I was halfway to the door before brain kicked in and said you idiot you’re on the 4th floor and you don’t have a balcony.

Wide-eye kitty is kinda weird but very sweet looking at the same time. Glad she came in from the cold. Some of those dog pics are pretty funny. There’s been some times I’ve seen some cute dogs when out and wanted to sneak a pic but didn’t want to annoy the owner.

Oh Mau Mau – beautiful kitty! She almost looks like someone daubed her in the face with a powder puff.

Love all the linkies today–and actually have time to go through them all now! I took the day off to treat myself. Three more place mats to weave, in a set of 6, and I can move on to another project.

Lucky! I was supposed to be off today, but we’re dealing with audit stuff so I pushed my day back for the second week in a row. Now I’ll be off next Friday, then I’m on vacation the following week, then the Monday after that is a holiday (but I will have to work from home on that Sunday).

Baby elephants are somehow especially endearing
