Why you gotta be so up in my face, little dude? You gotta turn down the flame on that pressure cooker before you blow up. Let’s talk about it, you’ll feel better.

Pinscher looks a little confused at the end, maybe cos the cat was “Dude…not gonna fight you”.
Love great cats, but I also adore the medium and small cats. Legs up to here on that beautiful serval. It’s intriguing that serval talks as much as my domestic kitties.
Who keeps a serval in the house, though? And why?
Wow! The serval handled that beautifully! Not backing down, facing pup with composure, being both conciliatory and self-possessed.
I could learn a lot from that serval. And, that is one strikingly gorgeous animal.
I think we all could…
Such a pretty kitty!
So chill that Serval.
Can’t you just hear the calming words of wisdom…
“Ok Pincher, you’re better than this. Look to your inner self for the calm you know you possess. You can rise above the Pincher stereo type. Ohhhmmm. Breathe deeply. Ohmmm…that’s it…relax and embrace your inner pussycat…”
That Serval is stunning, but I dislike seeing wild animals as house pets. And I must say the Min Pin was very slow to recognize Serval’s serious Ears of Annoyance.
“serious Ears of Annoyance”😂🤣😂
It’s so sad seeing wild animals being kept as pets. Why this is allowed…. Well, it should be outlawed. I also can’t go to zoos. That is even more wrenching.
I understand. Personally I find some zoos less difficult than others. Don’t forget that many zoos are actively involved in saving endangered species from extinction, and working to preserve their natural environment. I think there is something to be said for that.
Beautiful cat doesn’t fit in that domestic scenario. Min-pin is extremely stressed and threatened. All of its body language demonstrates a threat response. Very sad to see owners putting him through this for views.
Fascinating set of comments. I agree, beautiful cat. I agree, zoos have become sad places for me, for most species. If a species is sedentary or has a small range, it can live its natural lifestyle in a zoo. But most of them must feel frustrated. Yes, they are endangered. I keep thinking, “Is it better to be dead, or in a prison cell for life,” because those seem to be the choices.
I looked at the YouTube channel this came from, hoping it was a rescue or rehab center or someone’s house at a wildlife park. Unfortunately, to the extent I understand what’s going on (which isn’t much — the narration is in a thick Russian accent), it’s exactly what it looks like, a wild animal kept as a house pet.
That is one brave serval. I wouldn’t stand face to face with a Pinscher acting like that. Maybe the cat knew it could move quickly enough to keep its face out of the dog’s mouth, if needed?
We’ve all been told that adult cats don’t meow to each other, only to humans. But apparently servals do meow at dogs?? In fact, they meow a LOT. The dog seemed reconciled by the end. It’d probably never seen a cat on stilts before.
