This floofy foster cat can’t groom himself like he should, so when the temperature goes up, his mood comes down. But his devoted caregiver calls in a team of stylists for an extreme cat makeover. And while his new powder puff tail and Popeye arms may look odd, he feels like a new cool cat.

This is such a feel good story- what a happy ending. I’m hoping for a foster fail here – Chou Chou has a wonderful human and kitteh friend .
Floof and kisses.
What an amazing difference in Chou-chou’s behavior! I know when I am over-heated I am *not* a happy camper, so I totally get this! Also, did you get a load of those looooooong whiskers?!
What a beautiful kitten I’m glad he feels better without all that fur.
How cute is he? I wonder how fast kitten fur grows back…
Ferguson’s, um, aggressive grooming is too funny.
Furgusson 🤣
“Popeye arms” 😀
He looks like he’s wearing oversized fuzzy slippers at the end.
yeti boots? 😀
I’m in love with the Chou! And he was so mellow when getting a bath and being groomed. Did they give him something to calm him down, most cats I know would be fighting tooth and nail against this.
Cats don’t sweat, so their fur, like dogs’ fur, is insulating and actually keeps them cooler. A matting coat does need trimming but really shouldn’t be shaved. Humans project their own feelings when they see a “fur coat” in the summer. Very adorable puss, all that being said.
