Shoot, I’d be scared by that hail!😵‍💫

I wonder if that sweet little kitten lives here in Colorado. We get a lot of hail. Loved her worried little face.

Yeah, so I noticed. I was there for a couple of days at the beginning of August and was patting myself on the back for being in the hotel room when the hail/wind/rain storm hit…until I remembered I left my car windows down a couple of inches. 😛 At least it was hot so it dried fast. And I didn’t do what they lady parked next to me did- leave the sunroof open and go to lunch 20 min away, lol!

I love little white kitty’s sweet little worried face. I guess since her human is remaining calm she’s decided he doesn’t need to hide but she’s still not quite sure… (Also, her name is Velcro!)

Frankie and her half milk mustache are too cute. Glad she found a good home. (I didn’t know cats could have pica…)

I’m so glad Frankie found a good home.

I don’t know if my cats would be scared but I would be if that much hail fell on my house!
But I did discover that my house panther Storm is afraid of the noise the garbage truck brakes make when it stops in front of the house but kitten Skye couldn’t care less.

I would have been scared, too! I’d be wanting kitty to comfort me!

I’m happy for the blind dog. So lovely to be safe and loved and having fun

Such heartwarming stories this morning, loving all of them! Poor kitty, yes all that hail, and thunder can be scary. Glad Velcro velcroed onto mom. I used to have a 75 lb dog that became a lap dog when the storms started. Either that or she’d go hide in a closet and wouldn’t come out for hours.

We had a mini Schnauzer when I was a kid and the only time she slept with me was when there was thunder and I was the only one home. (She was my mom’s dog.)

Thunder and lightning: Ricky used to try to claw a burrow inside my body so he could hide there. Bibi has tried that once or twice, too. Cute, but painful! Now Bibi usually just squeezes into the tightest place she can find; sometimes that’s between me and some part of whatever I’m sitting on.

Behind the toilet is apparently a good place to hide, too!

Same 75 lb dog decided to hide behind the toilet once during a storm. Almost thought I’d have to call the fire department to help us get her out from behind. Still don’t know how she managed to squeeze herself into that space and she did get herself out. She also one time decided the dryer would make a good hiding spot. That was another “hmmm, maybe I need to call the fire department” moment. That dog was a 4 legged disaster waiting to happen. Between her chewing on hubby’s blood pressure meds bottle, finding & eating roach motels, and putting her paw through a window, I had poison control & the emergency vet on speed dial.

Some sad news: Cole, of Cole and Marmalade fame, died a couple of days ago. He had been battling cancer for some time.

I know there was a video was posted yesterday about him on YouTube but in actually Cole passed away on October 10th 2021.

My younger kitty simply disappears during any noisy storm! Probably under the bed. The older one was never bothered, even before she got mostly deaf.

Hurrah for Frankie and her wonderful life! Hurrah for sweet Jack and his loving family! Hurrah for all these sweeties who have such fabulous caretakers.

Any word from Duckie? I’ve been thinking about her since yesterday’s news, and hoping everything went well.
