You Look Fetching, Jabba

Jabba the giant rabbit is back, and now he has a human baby brother. But his mom still has time to play all of Jabba’s favorite games, like fetch the stick.

Imagine cuddling with such a big, soft and plush bunny. 🐰

I love how she includes the baby in the game. Probably wondering why he won’t throw the stick.

    Happy bunday!

OK don’t hate on me I’m just asking because I don’t know a lot about bunnies.
Are giant bunnies like Jaba more intelligent or at least more trainable than the smaller bunnies? A bit like dogs are easier to train than cats, because I’ve seen many videos of Flemish Giant rabbits doing tricks but not so much common size bunnies.

I think all sizes of bunnies are trainable. It just seems like parents of the large breeds do it more. But I have seen some very tricky Netherland Dwarfs! I don’t know about differences in intelligence tho? Some bunnies just *seem* smarter.

        Thank you 😊

I was able to train my smaller buns to do about 2 tricks, but not fetch. If they got an apple stick, they would start chewing it. Jabba was obviously starting to shed. I remember twice a year, gently pulling the loose hairs off my bunnies. I’d almost have enough for another bunny. I wanted to snuggle with Jabba so much.

Shoot, Theo is a mini-lop and they shed like they’re being paid! I put GOBS of shed fur outside for the birds to use. Theo HATES to be brushed, so this is a big deal.

I hear you 6Rabbits. I’d put my buns on a table outside and and let the fur fly, often it came back onto me. I knew the birds, chippy munks or sqwerls would probably like that for their nests. My Leo would almost get in a trance but the others would get impatient.

Gorgeous fluff (foot)ball. Never realized can be taught tricks. Very cute having the baby there, and bun bun thinking he’d be able to throw stick too. Give it a few years!

I would love to cuddle with Jabba! And I love his parent’s shirt🥰.
I wish my bun would let me pull out his loose fur like that! Our lives would be a lot easier.😁
