Conehead No More

If you’ve been following the tale of Teller, the cat recovering from surgery, he has at last been de-coned. Here’s reader Muppet2171 with the deets:

Here he is… all better! I had to actually cut him out of the cone. No idea how they got it over his head in the first place (he got the drawstring out of it the first day). He hasn’t tried to murder me for taking him to the vet. If anything, he’s been more affectionate lately. Of course, he could just be trying to lull me into a false sense of security…

(Uh-oh, she’s onto me.)

Ditto, ditto yay! But I’d still be careful. Teller might like revenge served cold.

I’m very happy to see Teller is back to his handsome cone-less self.

So happy for you both. Do take care of yourselves! Teller might indeed prefer his revenge served cold.

Good stuff Teller, super glad you are on the mend!… I so miss a cat. I came upon a friendly kitty earlier this evening while out walking; she did the whole ‘ya rub my tummy ruse’ aka ‘it’s a trap’ and I proudly didn’t fall for it. She got conversation and head pets and a rump scritch whilst the local crow patrol bitched. Good times. 🙂

I think Teller is more affectionate cos he feels better and is, perhaps, grateful for your loving care!
