Andrew Y. shares a cat trying to feed a very stubborn kitten.
The cat bringing her stuffed kitten to the feeder is both sweet and sad at the same time.
My aunt had a female Doberman mix that lost her puppies, after that she went around the neighborhood stealing squeaky toys from other dogs and bringing them to her doghouse and caring for them like they were her puppies. If you took one out and made it squeak she would quickly come and gently take it out of your hand and bring it back to her nest.
I was also thinking the cat bringing her stuffed toy to the feeder, was a little sad. She’s probably worrying about it not eating. Hopefully she’ll soon realize that its okay. Pretty coloring of fur.

Lovely links today. Travolta came back from such misery to such happiness with his rescuer. Lincoln and the pack of Great Danes! The one playing with the kitten, like a human would, by fluttering a ribbon for it to chase . The kitten and the blind and deaf one playing together! Yes, the cat bringing her stuffie to the feeder was a little sad, but also very sweet.
Travolta in his snazzy tux made me howl! I’m also chortling over Lincoln the kitty bossing around those 4 ginormous dogs. Such happy links.
I bought two little resin fawns for our landscaping that look pretty life-like (although smaller than the real thing). Several times I’ve gone out to see one of the mama deer lying near them.

They look very lifelike, does the mama try to make the “babies” get up and follow her?
Not that I’ve seen, but it wouldn’t surprise me. All the does that I’ve seen near it have their own babies, so I’m wondering if they think these two were orphaned or something. We’ve seen some of the mama deer “adopt” fawns that were (presumably) orphaned before, so…
