Rabbit Rule #1: You are not allowed to touch my footies, no matter how invitingly I leave them exposed.
Rabbit Rule #2: I, however, am allowed to lie on your hand and claim it for as long as I want.

It’s a simple matter of the proper decorum, reflecting the natural hierarchy.
That is one spoiled bunny! But very cute and happy🐇
Aaannnd, there’s another precious bun I want. However, one does not touchie the back feetsie, no matter how tempting. And a bun can lay on your hand or lap however long they want. Seems like a well loved bun.
Rule 1 is disappointing but Rule 2 seems entirely fair.
Talk about “inviting”!!
I can’t help thinking “buttered toast” when I see this deliciousness.
Ha ha yup!
There was some serious stink eye when the back feetsies were first touched.
Don’t know how universal Rule 1 is. For instance, here is a counter-example of a bun blissfully out on a pile of carrots:
That’s a very young bun—they don’t care. Which is why bun feet should be massaged daily for them to get used to it. Also, that bunny is in heaven!
Such a cutie. Rule 1 doesn’t apply to the front feetsies. I could hold my bun’s front footie and gently rub the toe beans, while they were standing or lying on the floor. When was holding them in my lap, in a sitting up position, I could also rub the front toe beans and sometimes the back feetsies.
Awww! 💕
