“Yep, going for a different look this Halloween. We black cats tend to get pigeonholed, so thinking outside the box I’m going as TZ-507, better known in astronomical circles as the Lobster Nebula.”
My dog, it’s full of stars, Andrew Y.

So pretty!
Wow! So beautiful!
And the litter box will look just as pretty tomorrow.
Funny thing is the reddit post says the cat rolled in edible glitter, so I just googled what edible glitter is made from (“Common ingredients…include sugar, acacia (gum arabic), maltodextrin, cornstarch, and color additives specifically approved for food use, including mica-based pearlescent pigments and FD&C colors such as FD&C Blue No. 1”) and if it’s safe for cats. Apparently they use it as a marker for collecting, uh, samples, when multiple cats share a house. Each cat gets a different color in their food so they can tell them apart at the other end.
The More You Know!🌈
Oh wow thanks ALLEIN I’ve been asked in the past by the vet for a sample from one of my cats and I could never produce one because I’ve always had multiple cats, now I’ll know what to do if that happens again!
I guess it’s easier to feed them separately than make them use separate litter boxes.
Oh,
I thought it was uh, for human use. Which I suppose they could use that way.
Actually thought it was decorating baked good or, um, other uses.
And kitty looks amazing in purple.
I’m sure it was developed for humans for baking and such; I think kitty testing is just an alternative use.
S/he does look incredibly pretty and starry!
Looks like a Magic Cat!
Gorgeous. Another superpower of house panthers! I contain worlds!
Its the sequel to Captain Marvel, rather than a side kick, the cat is the superhero!
