Totally forgot I sent that in! Must have been a while ago. Now I want some watermelon..
What a diverse group of birds! I especially like the black and white, with blue feathers and green tail.
Where was the video taken?
Folks we got a lot more snow last night. That’s 2 systems that laid down about 4 heavy inches each. Fortunately there was time for the first bout to basically melt down. I can’t remember it snowing this early since 2016!
Meanwhile, I had to turn my AC back on for a couple days last week.
It was 29F when I left this morning.
Parc des Chanteraines is in northern France, not far from Paris.
Watermelon–the snack food you can sit in (if you’re a duckling). That’s just adorable.
We got a lot of snow yesterday too, 6Rabbits. I’m wondering when the HOA will get around to clearing it.
My HOA has people that come around 6 or earlier depending on how bad the roads are. Sidewalks and driveways take a little longer tho. I just 💙LOVE💙 that I don’t have to do it!😁
Bear is a very patient with is bird brother Haku.
Guess birds aren’t bird brains after all. Love Haiku with his doggy brother, reminds me of every annoying lil sibling ever. Not sure I could handle having a rooster and his alarm clock. Ducklings look like their having so much fun with the watermelon, once they got the chicken out of the way, lol.
I can’t get past the rooster wearing bunny slippers. Once I recover I’ll look at the rest.
I know! I did a double take!
We had a barred owl (like the one in this story) hanging out in one of our trees a couple of weeks ago- luckily he didn’t try to come into the house. The only destruction he caused was to the half-eaten squirrel he was holding as he sat in the tree (sorry for that mental image- I’ll be nice and not post the actual photo I got, haha!)
We live in the woods so we hear owls frequently, but that’s the first time I’ve seen one on our property. Very cool!
I’m so happy for Barth and his mom. He really is very expressive and you can see his happiness.
Did anyone else hear that mother duck yell “Get Out!” when she pecked that chicken?
Don’t get between a mother’s ‘starving’ children and food.
The birds in slow motion are gorgeous
