For Wombat Wednesday, we’re going back to Sleepy Burrows in a new documentary. This isn’t our first visit to the legendary rehab facility and its amazing founder Donna, but this time she talks about the wombat who first put her on the rescue path many years ago. You’ll also meet Moonshadow, Dennis the Menace, and see a clever use for ice cream cartons. (Content warning: discussion and images of mange)

Adorable tanks. That Dennis is well named.
Happy Thanksgiving to all the denizens of Cutetropolis – Iām thankful for you all.
Nice HP reference, Mike! I saw what you did there!
Looking forward to watching when I get home.
Wow, that medicine dispensing system is genius! I am jealous of their scenery. Imagine getting to look at that view every day.
Just got back from a pie hunt. My first choice (local orchard store) was out of apple, so I ended up at Wegmans and just got a Sara Lee dutch apple pie that I will bake this evening (because it was easiest, there’s too much traffic, and my anxiety level is too high for me to be driving all over town).
Bravo Allein! The pie sounds good. I’m just back from hunting for whipping cream in Philly. No luck yet… š There’s still tomorrow morning with freshly (we hope) stocked shelves – fingers crossed.
I need to be able to upvote this more than once! Such good info and such cute wombats! Loved the one who kept attacking the guys shoe! Such sorrow to see the one with mange, and to hear that 70% of wombats are infected!š¢
And the ice cream lid dispenser IS ingenious!
I agree on all points! What fabulous people and critters.
