I would foster fail Kisses too, such a rough start but her capacity to love again is amazing. Did anyone else see in her video the other dog at around 2:20 watching Kisses get loved on? That side eye killed me, it’s like “what am I – chopped liver??? How ’bout some attention thrown my way??”
Yea for Elf getting a home for the holidays and for Phillip the cat finding an amazing dad. Puppy getting cat’s face is me every morning with Valkyrie, she is persistent and has no boundaries.

It’s supposed to be 51 tomorrow (with rain/wind*) and 23 on Saturday, 26 on Sunday. Right now it’s 43 and just started raining.
*with coastal flood-, gale-, and flood warnings. Luckily I don’t get flooding where I am but I am supposed to be in the office tomorrow. Also my dad wants me to get scratch-offs for my mom’s stocking and normally I would do it after work tomorrow (we get out at 1 before a holiday) but I might be better off running out after I log off tonight.

We’re at -10F right now, up from -17 when I got up. I’m not stepping foot outside unless I absolutely must.
On the flip side, I enjoyed watching the snow come down last evening. Temp started to plummet around 4 pm, and it dropped like a stone.
