Thank you, everyone, for your support yesterday. Dad went home late last night. It was a seizure, and it turns out it apparently wasn’t his first. The others were all apparently minor, with him not knowing who he was for a few minutes. Mom knew, but no one else. Yesterday was bad. He was unresponsive to external stimuli, but fully intent on following some task in his mind. He’d get up to do it, fall, and get up again to keep trying. It was terrifying. He’s ok now, is in control of himself, and is FINALLY seeing a doctor. The rest of us have a feeling that they will be downsizing and moving to a more senior oriented place before long. 🙏🏼
The sea lion above is actually quite comforting. I wouldn’t mind a life size stuffy of one, as long as it was squishy and plushie.
