I was instantly transported back to 1965, when my freshly bathed dog emerged from the bath, ran downstairs and out of the house, jumped over the garden wall and disappeared into the ramshackle farm* next door for a good roll around in filth. The expression she wore when taken back to the bath was identical to this pup’s.
*Things that make me feel old: I can remember there being a farm in the suburbs of a northern industrial city!
