The woman who brings us Finnegan the giggly fox is a friend to other sorts of woodland creatures, such as these two squirrels who lend a hand as she prepares the Seven Dwarfs’ quarterly sales report.

I’m working from home. All I got today was a hail storm. No furry woodland creatures.
Well maybe if you provided the furry woodland creatures with their own home with an entrance into your home and an exit to the outside…
I don’t think the condo association would go for that…
Can you sublet?
lol…it’s actually part of an affordable housing program; I’m not allowed to rent it out.
Okay, I kind of have this problem, except it’s kind of freaky. Today, I had a squirrel basically stand next to my shoe on my patio to request some noms. I obliged, of course, but then I did a bug dance. I love squirrels. I guess I’m just not Disney princess material. Sigh.
If he was standing *next* to your shoe, he was being very civilized.
The squirrels in Montreal near where Leonard Cohen used to live were much bolder. If you stood around and didn’t offer them any nuts, they would climb up your leg and check your coat pockets for loot to make sure you’re not holding out.
I’m not sure if they were Cohen’s home security system, but they were very effective.
Hear, Hear!!
That is so true.
I would love this! Especially if they were red squirrels, my favorite. I wonder about the visitor tho?
I can’t believe the sqwerls haven’t chewed on all those exposed cords.
Exactly! I have so many questions!? –but I do admit screen saver/lounger squirlio is pretty neat. (house-trained concerns?…)
The one on the monitor (Liz I think) seems very relaxed, unusual for a squirrel I think.
