Ooh! I was in the bookstore last week and saw sidewalk chalk shaped like bunnies…
How is it fair that pup can roll around on the floor and get multi-colored dust all over him and look even more gorgeous and I would look like someone that people would edge away from?
I said this exact same thing to a kid who was having a tantrum at a store once.
His mother looked exasperated and embarrassed that her little boy was on the floor of the store, doing a Homer Simpsons style rolling around on the floor in circles.
I told the kid that he needs to enjoy doing that now because once he’s older he won’t be able to get away with it because they would think he’s crazy. The kid immediately got up and behaved himself.
I still remember the grateful look on that lady’s face.
