Maybe individual cupcakes next year..?
I agree! I thought it was a little much to expect them to share one cake. Reminds me of the Skeksis dinner scene from The Dark Crystal movie.
OMG the corgi cake!

I know! The teeny teefs!
Savannah and Tybee and George, oh, my.
Spear and magic helmet?!
Now I want to help breed elephant shrews!
Boom! Meaning of “Bwoonhilda” just hit me.
Did anyone else notice that the cats in that crochet piece are all felted (not real)?
At first, I wondered how any cats would subject themselves to such attire, and then, Aha! They wouldn’t.
Someone has lots of time of their hands to make and dress up kitties. Still I wish I was that crafty, amazing detail on the hats. And I thought the were real kitties too until someone mentioned in a comment that they were felt. So life-like!
Lab and girl – BFFs always! She always have such good memories of her childhood.
FIL signed the forms, and we are now responsible for his care. I am soooooo grateful.
Yeah!! At the same time it’s harder but easier when you’re in charge of a family member’s care. You have to do it all but any disagreements should be less. Remember, if and when anyone gives you any nonsense, keep repeating this phrase “We are following his wishes”. Good luck!
We were pretty much doing it all anyway, but now we don’t need to wait for SOMEone to get back to us on things. Everyone, keep your ears tuned to lower BC coast next week. You will hear a very loud noise when ex-step-mother-in-law suddenly realizes that putting us in charge of everything means we are in charge of EVERYthing. Especially since we are following HIS wishes AND hers. Being responsible for someone’s care can be stressful, but it can have its perks.
No, I’m not normally malicious, but we found out today that, since she said she didn’t want to be responsible for him, his care home fees have not been paid, and not only do we need to figure that out, we also need to pay the deficit.
Anyway, we are in control, and this will NEVER happen again. We will properly care for him, and he will never want again.
Thank goodness! You can all rest a little easier now.
I have the same reaction when someone tries to eat my cake.
