Wyatt and the incredibly cute Lenny are such good friends! Love how they run and play together. So glad Wyatt’s parents understood what he needed was a brother!

Bebeh orangutan kinda looks like he’s just over it. Whatever it is.

Off topic but the doctor gave me medicine and I know it’s silly but I’m afraid to take it…💊😭

    • 6rabbits March 28, 2023 / 9:25 am

Why? Does it have concerning side-effects?

      • allein 🐾 March 28, 2023 / 9:27 am

Unlikely…I’m just basically always afraid any new medicine is gonna kill me…I’ve never had a bad reaction to anything so it’s stupid but that’s how my brain goes…

What was your diagnosis and what’s the medication, if you don’t mind me asking?

Omeprazole for reflux (the “silent” kind, evidently). Also Xyzal*, which is an OTC allergy medicine, for post-nasal drip, which I learned can apparently be caused by reflux…). Supposed to take it for a month. (In the meantime, I will try to adjust my eating patterns a bit. Though the anxiety that the symptoms have been bringing with them have made eating a scary prospect, too, so I’m working on that, too.

*Xyzal is essentially a different flavor of the drug in Zyrtec, which I once took along with antibiotics for an ear infection, and which absolutely knocked me out so I had to stop taking it after a few days, so hopefully Xyzal lives up to its “less drowsy than Zyrtec” reputation. Though she said to take it at night so maybe it won’t matter unless it makes it hard for me to get up in the morning.

The meds sounds okay, tho I would def take zyrtec-like one at night! I think the whole experience has made you anxious, which is why you’re worried, causing more anxiety! Crossing my fingers for you!🤞🏽

                Exactly. 🙁

Can you start by just taking 1/3 – 1/2 % of the doses for a few days, to see how your body will react? I often do this and understand you being hesitant.

It’s a capsule so I can’t split it. The PA at the dermatologist office was like “just take it! It’ll help!”

I take Omeprazole all the time – but I take Fomatidine (sp?) every night. Omeprazole is a pump inhibitor and the other is just an acid reducer. I wouldn’t worry about either one but use Omeprazole less .

Louie the raccoon is my spirit animal.

Mine too. What a character! A round, troublemaking character.

    Bag-cat is an excellent jumper.

Lenny and Wyatt are so wonderful together. I LOVE Louie! He is a major personality

Weird pets and odd cats had me cracking up. Louie is literally too much. Glad there was someone to step up and give him the good life. Wyatt and Lenny make a great pair. Cat video – incoming!!! Reminds me of when Val decides she wants to be on my lap and she’s across the room when she launches herself. Thank goodness she’s only 10 pounds.

Wyatt and Lenny make my heart happy.
