Unfortunately from what I could hear, her owner wasn’t doing good himself, couldn’t physically take care of her but did make sure that she was fed.
Not sure if he turned over Gigi himself to the rescue team but glad someone did.

Good thing I watched the horse video first, as that needs a full squad of onion chopping ninjas warning. At least the post’s headline gave you an idea of how it would end. The other posts helped cheer me up, love, just love rag doll cats. Used to pet sit one for a friend, and his name was Mr. Paddywhack. Memes had me rolling on the floor. Then an owl in the house! Sigh, I want to have an live owl of my own but I’ll stick to stuffed versions. Easier to take care of. And it would be so hard to eat those egg creations, they’re so pretty.
The horses video did not just bring tears to my eyes. I cried.

So glad that they didn’t feel the need to keep her.
She was there from Tuesday night and discharged around 5pm Thursday. Then they went to the pharmacy and out for dinner. My dad is supposed to run the cameras for their church’s Good Friday service tonight so he asked me to babysit because he doesn’t want to leave her home alone just yet. I think she doesn’t agree that she needs a babysitter but that’s too bad for her. Of course I woke up with a migraine today so I’m sitting here with an ice pack on my face while waiting for the drugs to kick in. Need to leave in a couple hours.

I’m off today, too. Had to work late to finish everything yesterday, though, or I would have had to work today anyway (and make it up next week, as my boss and a couple others are doing). We are still doing Easter dinner on Sunday but I don’t know if it’s going to be the roast chicken that was planned (since even if my mom wants to cook it I doubt my dad will let her). My dad said he might just do steaks on the grill instead.
I’ve been trying to remember what my family usually had for Easter dinner when I was young. I can’t remember. I think that is because we got large baskets, and I just wasn’t interested!
