Sea lions play video games, artist makes felt animals, baby orangutan, elephant-copter, and more.
And finally: Dumbo II

I fully relate to Bebeh Orang’s expression today but Bebeh Heffalump made me laugh.
Yes and YES! That trunk action was simply perfect. If I had a trunk or a tail, I’d be doing the same thing all the time.
Baby looked like something from a new Dr Seuss movie and kind of dubious about the casting.
Baby Elephant is fully committed to Sparkle Motion!
I have never seen ANY age elephant do that with their trunk!
Little Chihiro is a truly adorable kitty. So glad she left somewhere she could be taken care of. And thumbs up👍🏼 to her 2 brothers for their efforts.
Totally off topic, but…
Heard from a specialist yesterday. Lung function close to normal. Oxygen exchange close to normal. Blood numbers back to normal. Am back in remission for my granulomatosis, and they have hopes of possible cure. Sarcoidosis still evident, but not as aggressive. If this continues for three months, my meds will be re-assessed in August.
Yay!
Good news for you, Duckie. Hope the numbers continue to show improvement.
Huzzah!
Any update on your medical mystery??
No, I’ve been procrastinating calling the doctor. Finished the naproxen on Sunday.
The pulling sensation in my ankle (which was not painful, exactly, but was really uncomfortable), is mostly better, but the burning in my foot is still there (though not as bad) and the numbness/sensitivity to cold touch in my skin is still there (maybe slightly better; not really sure).
They never called to explain my blood work, but I get all the results in my chart online and they were either negative or within the normal range given (testing for Lyme and auto-immune stuff).
It kinda sucks that there’s no obvious answer. I’ve been on a medical mystery journey of my own for going on 30 years now. Been tested too many times for MS and lyme disease, poked and prodded by a list of specialists from A to Z, and still nothing definitive. All they can tell me is I have fibromyalgia (which in and of itself, is a nebulous diagnosis usually given when they can’t come up with anything else), some type of arthritis, and probably neuropathy in the feet. So I just take it one day at a day and have learned some coping strategies to get through it when it gets worse than usual. Good luck and hopefully they can figure it out.
Woo Hoo! So glad to hear it
So glad to hear your good news!
Love good news!!!!
Glad for some good news!
Fingers crossed for continued progress
Very happy for you!
Fantastic news, Duckie!
Baby elephant cracked me up – swing it like you just don’t care!!! I have never ever seen one twirled in a circle like that, that is just too much. Chihiro and baby orang melted my heart. And just wow, the lengths the zoo are going to to ensure baby survives and can be reunited with mom. The felt doggy pics are awesome, such talent!
I am going to have that image in my head for awhile
I’m guessing that that Queens kitten has more than other cats doting on her.
Hmmm. The sea lions and dolphins are learning to play video games not sure I’d be able to learn.
The dogs hugging over the fence!
