I don’t know, but plenty of small dogs do agility training and the like. It doesn’t seem like a huge jump…
I assumed pup had been trained for agility trials. I thought it was adorable too.
I think the negative comments are just the internet being the internet – lots of unhappy people who need to spread unhappiness.
Everything I’ve read and experienced says that dogs enjoy mental and physical challenges. They need mental stimulation, just like humans, and learning tricks & receiving rewards or praise for their accomplishments makes the dog\human bond stronger. My dog loves learning and doing tricks. We still do modified tricks, although at 15+ years old, the tricks are really his physical therapy. But the concept is the same – he does a physical activity and he gets a reward & praise.

It doesn’t look like the dog is being _forced_ to jump at all – in fact the human isn’t even reacting at all to the dog’s antics, much less giving any commands or hand signals?
I feel like the human is quite used to this.

Baby owls have melted my brain. So have the kitten trio. I shouldn’t have looked at the stories so early in the day.
I felt horrible for the owls. They must have been terrified. Poor babies.
I know nothing about the Glastonbury Festival…anyone know why that particular stage is described as “infamous”?
I guess because it looks like an actual pyramid, is the main stage for the festival, and numerous mega stars have played there over the years. (Don’t feel bad, never really heard of it or been there and had to google it.)

Those owls look like they’ve seen some stuff, lol. Doggy is so smart and so athletic. I’m so happy the three kitty amigos went to the same house and they have 2 kids who’ll probably spoil them rotten. Pigggy has melted my heart, hoping she’s not as needy when she’s several hundred pounds or else that man is going to be black and blue.
Maybe they’re tired of having Sweet Child o’ Mine stuck in their heads…
Or they were offended by Welcome to the Jungle. We are woodland owls after all.
