Splooting squirrels, animal rock stars, puppy saved from chickens, and beaver loves ‘nanners.
And finally: Beaver Banana Break
A while back, you saw a beaver building an indoor “dam.” Today, reader Lucy C. shares some background:
It was originally posted by Holley Muraco on her YouTube channel. Over the past few months she has been posting videos almost everyday as she is currently rehabbing three new beavers.
“Banana! Must have more…*squeak, squeak, squeak*”
So much banana for such a small one! Buns would act the same way.
MUST have that bunny rock!
We used to have a big rock in our backyard, under a tree. This was a favorite place for squirrels to sploot. As kids we thought this was sweet but hysterical!
Pino is just too adorable!
That bunny rock is fantastic.
I’m saving the beaver video for *after* work. Three seconds of squeaking were too dangerous for my brain!
sploot.
Dam, that beaver baby is cute!
I see what you did thar
But also you are completely correct.
Ha 😆 dam good one.
Baby beaver and banana melted my brain. Suprised I’m getting any work done. I’d sploot too if I was overly warm, I mostly lean over the fan to get cooled off. Akie’s work is amazing and so lifelike, I follow her on Facebook. Her pieces usually are sold within a minute, literally. One time, I was lucky enough to get through via Messenger to ask how much and it was $500! Thankfully, better sense prevailed and I didn’t purchase but I was sooo tempted. Puppy video will have to wait until later, for some reason my work computer isn’t playing videos today.
It’s been so hot here I’ve been splooting for the last week but we had a big thunderstorm last evening and the heat has finally gone down.
Pino is just adorable so glad he got rescued and the banana eating beaver makes the cutest sounds, reminds me of Teddy.
Not surprisingly, I make that same noise when I eat a good banana.
Squirrel splooting! Adorable and more evidence of how intelligent and resourceful they are.
I loved the sploot story–the bear was my fave.
Also I want one of Akie’s painted rocks in the worst way.
And I was totally right about saving the beaver video for later. That little one has rendered me speechless. Her tantrum at the end, when the banana was gone–never saw such a cute tantrum!
I know its time to turn up the air conditioner when the cats are splooting.
On the other hand, my meeser still insists on using my laptop deflection device despite it being 90 degrees outside.
Little Pino and his foster sister Ayla sleeping neck and neck–an image I can never forget. What sweeties.
