Oh the dreaded nail clipping. My husband would hold ours while I clipped. Then afterwards they knew there was always a treat. I couldn’t even walk because they’d be at my feet wanting the treat. Very cute Mugi and don’t tease him/her with the strawberry. They will climb all over you to get what they want.
Goodness, 6Rabbit- still no power!! You have grief, spoiled food, guests and endless frustration to deal with, hope you’re able to keep it together.
I used to take Pablo to PetCo to get his nails trimmed. I’d hold him vertically, which made him freeze, and they’d clip real quick. Totally worth ten bucks. Then we’d get a bag of assorted treats from the treat bar.
What would us pet parents do without treats? My buns knew it was 2 treats exactly, If I just gave them one ( just to test them), they would still follow me. Once they got the second one, they’d mosey on.
Yep my bun knows the number of treats he gets—he gets 3 different kinds. From nibbling the first he knows if its just 1 treat, 2 treats or a lot! He also knows how many blueberries he gets in the AM!

Was lurking yesterday as I was having a lazy day so finally got a chance to catch up on everyone’s comments. Sorry 6Rabbit about all your difficulties on top of losing your dad. Love little Mugi and s/he took the nail trimming in stride. No fair on pulling the strawberry away but so determined to have more. And if you turned speakers up, you’d hear rabbit crunching/munching. So sweet.
I just about fainted when Mugi yawned. So cute! Also love the little guy’s head to body ratio.
