Yay for void kitties!
A feral black cat turned up at my Mom’s house several years ago. He spent the first year and a half sitting under her car hissing at us, but was happy to stay for the food we gave him. One day he brushed up against me, and I thought he’d done it by mistake. Then he did it again. He became such a love bug! I didn’t find out until later that the day he showed up in the yard was…you guessed it… Black Cat Appreciation Day!
I think black cats are some of the most beautiful creatures on Earth.
Yeah, but there’s a possibility you could get an evil cat from any color you pick. Just sayin’.
I didn’t know about Black cat appreciation day! I going to have to make it up to Storm for not celebrating her special day!
Love black haus panthars. Had one spicy void myself but wouldn’t have changed him for anything. Someday, I’ll have another. Hopefully not as spicy.
I’d have a houseful if I could.
Two weeks ago I adopted a void cat, from a household where the human died unexpectedly. He has been a delight from right out of the carrier! Loving, purring, making biscuits all the time, talking, lap-sitting, licking any human skin available, playing, chewing on catnip, rolling over & showing his tummy & asking for rubs, using his half-closed eyes to flirt with me…what a sweetie pie! I’ve been without any cat for three years and I’m so happy to have one in my life again. And he’s a solid black kitty! I’ll give him extra treats tonight.
Watch out, I may have to steal that fabulous void cat from you!
Oh no, you won’t! He’s Mine now! If I can find a pic I’ll send it in.
Aww – ❤️❤️❤️ glad you have a new bestie!
Thanks, I’d forgotten how much fun one can have with a cat. And how comforting it can be.
Congrats on your new master! He sounds absolutely lovely.
I’m partial to voids myself. Will give Scorpi some extra love tonight.
That’s beautiful, Marianne! ❤️
I love the void! I had a void bunny for 12 years! Only thing I didn’t like was trimming dark nails😝
Black Cats are the best! (I’m totally biased being owned by two) If I ever win the lottery, I will be a black cat sanctuary.
I had a house panther for 22 years. She was gorgeous. I think the blackness accentuates their slinky elegance and mystery.
