    This one:

Reminds me of an Andrew Wyeth painting:

    Titled “The Intruder.”

I declare “explorer dogs” to be a genre of photography/painting.

      I concur.

Just what makes that one little ant
Think it can move a rubber tree plant?

Bag puppy is so very determined and adorable.

Poor kitty who got lost! I’m glad she’s back with her family.

I don’t understand what the driver was thinking. The company said, “But on speaking with him it’s clear things are somewhat more complicated than they first appear”; what does that mean? I can see thinking maybe the passenger was potentially dangerous when they were chasing and banging on the car, but presumably he got the messages and obviously found the cat in the car. (Unless another passenger took her without saying anything?) Why wouldn’t he respond and/or go back to where he dropped the person off (which was a vet office so it would have been easy enough to just explain what happened and leave the cat with the vet even if the passenger was no longer there). Did he just dump her outside somewhere? (And what did he do with her carrier?) I’m glad Lyft at least paid the vet bill to get her checked out.

        I know,

after all of that trauma, she still needed to go to the vet’s!

Drivers are hustling to make a buck like we all are. Suspect he was distracted by his issues like a phone call or something. Not optimum but it happens. I ratted out (sorry rodent owners) an UBER driver who was facetiming with his son during a ride, and missed the exit due to the distraction.

          As you should!

        I know!!
Did driver have earbuds in? Was he medicated? And how did cat end up out of carrier on side of road? This does not make sense no matter what the “complicated” situation was! Glad Lyft paid for the vet at least!

This story sounds fishy on so many levels and we’re only hearing the owner’s side. Plus I think both owner and driver were in the wrong. They always say there’s two sides to every tale, and somewhere in the middle is the most plausible scenario.

So silly seal on my doorstep but then I am about 20 miles inland. Love the pet photographs, so many beautiful ones I’d never be able to choose just one. Everyone gets a prize! I am really surprised that teeny pup is actually able to move the bag. Talk about determination!

IAMSo frustrated by this ginormous bag…

I hope puppy got some dinner or at least treat after all that effort.
