“So I guess the son turned out to be a quokkadile hunter?”
There’s no sound for the quokka video?☹️
Look on the bottom right; I get a little speaker icon with an X next to it. Click it to turn on the sound.
Weirdly, I couldn’t get it to show! I had to go to this site on Safari, which then sent me to the original and I got to hear it, which is def worth it! Then came back here on Chrome and the speaker button was available! Weirdness!
I want quokka kisses. Then I want to bottle feed a baby rhino and boop Nanny McPhee’s nose. Looking forward to other links later.
As if an adorable double nose kitty called Nanny McPhee for heaven’s sake wasn’t cute enough we get to watch Robert Irwin making out with a quokka!
How am I supposed to function for the rest of the day after that?
If you read about the cat’s double nose, there is mention at the end that there is a 6-legged puppy found!😳
Went to the link and, by golly, it DOES have 6 legs! Never heard of such a thing. Shows an x-ray.
Truly astounded!
Incredible links today, Mike! All wonderful stories!
Gotta say, never thought rhinos were cute, but that baby def is!
I simply adore baby rhinos. They’re so homely, they’re lovely.
OMG the tortoise story! My former dean, a biologist, once told me that turtles make great pets because if you go on vacation, you can just stick them in the refrigerator. I don’t think he meant a 30-year stay, though.
Couldn’t finish the cockatoo story. Wanted to kill someone.
Because they have him? Or because how he was treated before? The rest of the story is all good, and you’re glad for the cockatoo.
How he was treated before.
Yes, the rest of the story is good.
Lovely links this morning and all the animals are adorable!!! Can’t believe how grown up Robert Irwin is and looking so much like his dad.
Sheepdogs are amazing.
The first time I was in Wales, my then-boyfriend and I were walking around and heard a group of people talking. We couldn’t see them, but we knew they were speaking in Welsh and the cadence of their conversation sounded really familiar. Then we got to a point where we could see, and it was a sheep auction! Apparently language makes no difference–auctions happen in the same way no matter what.
The cockatoo was very badly treated but it’s wonderful that such great people rescued him. He seems SO happy now
Very very happy indeed. Dancing cockatoos make my heart happy.
