Cat video from space, pitties in the hammock, railway bull plushie, best wildlife photos, and more.
And finally: And in Conclusion, Meow
Not sure what this cat is saying, Andrew Y., but it’s definitely the last word.

lol at the hovertext on the bull plushie…”Wow, that was fast” was my exact thought when I saw it was included since I sent it literally 12 hours and 11 minutes ago as I’m reading this.
Kitty on lap “Nope, stayin’ like this, Dad.”
I’m in love with this photo from the 49 best photos of 2013, I’d love to have if blown up and hung on my wall.
From a technical standpoint this is amazing. Not to mention capturing the spirit of the animal.
I fell head over heels for that one too. Gorgeous shot.
Love the Ricardo plushie! And kitty protests! Lav would not take no for an answer either.
Calling Cesar Milan STAT for those pitties!
Victoria Stillwell would be my preference.
YES!👍🏼
Pitties running amok, so funny but still think doggos need some training. Goji the kitten is perfect in every way. I may need to order a Ricardo plushie. It’s so New York and it helps support the sanctuary where he’s now living. With his “celebrity” status, I hope it raises bazillion $$$ for them, win – win for everyone. Of course the cat has to have the last word.
Day 2 of my week off, it’s so nice to have a leisurely breakfast and not have to rush in the a.m. Yesterday we took a drive (in the ‘Stang, natch) up the mountains to Julian for lunch and pie. Also stopped in the second hand bookstore they have there and bought a copy of the novel “Ramona”. All this time living in CA and I’ve never read it so figured good a time as any. I love this bookstore. It’s in an old house with each of the rooms dedicated to different genres. Plus the ceilings are a little low and the floors creak. My idea of the perfect bookstore. And they were playing Handel’s Messiah. Also had a good chat with the older man running the checkout desk about how much we love books. He recommended a book about book lovers called Bibliophilia by Tom Raabe. Another one to add to my reading list.
Today after taking puppers out to the park, we’ll probably head out to the Safari Park and check out the three cubs mentioned in an earlier post. And then time for me to finish my crafty projects. I may not want to go back to work next week, lol.
If you go visit the lion cubs, tell them I love them!
Glad you’re enjoying your time off, AJ. It’s heavenly to have a long stretch of time not thinking about work.
So sweet: “Snuggle up with your very own Ricardo, knowing that a portion of the proceeds goes directly to supporting the real-life Ricardo at the animal sanctuary where he has found refuge.”
And LASER CAT IN SPACE, LOVE LOVE LOVE.
And how much does that cat look like Data’s Spot?!
Sadly, have to ration those wildlife photos until after work this evening. Sigh.
You really shouldn’t need a crash helmet to enjoy a hammock.
crazy, vicious pitbulls, bet they lick/snuggle their people within an inch of their lives.
I love the indignant cat forcing managers to work overtime. And I needed a laugh after returning home from the most disappointing and frustrating day out of my entire life, thanks to weather conditions that wreaked havoc with the trains. More about this on Saturday.
