But before she had a ball, she endured chains. It took a dedicated team to rescue NamThip and bring her to a better life.

I have never seen an elephant so skinny! I knew from the curved shape of her bones there were problems. It almost looked like she was crying when in the bus. The joy felt in that wonderful pool is apparent. I’m so glad she was finally rescued! How hard her old life must have been😢
I wonder if she was smelling freedom when she was poking her trunk out of the sides of the truck.
Good thing I waited–NamThip’s joy had me in tears. I wanted to cuddle up with her in the hay. She looks so happy in the river.
