Yes! One of my favorite memes is “if the earth was flat, cats would have knocked everything off”!
Luckily that’s one habit my cats don’t have.
You have strange cats. Mine loves to knock things down. So have the ones before her.
My mom had to relocate most of the stuff on top of the TV cabinet when they had the cats, but just because Stripes liked to get up there and sniff around, not because he would deliberately knock things off. Except birthday cards. Those he would knock off one by one. Not sure what he had against birthdays. Stars didn’t really get into things at all, and never got up higher than the sewing machine table under the bedroom window (she liked to watch the bird feeder in the side yard). I think she was afraid of heights.
Oh boy, reminds me of a toddler with nothing to do. And a cat actually semi-apologized for it. It’s annoying but also very amusing watching them knock stuff off and you run over trying to grab the breakables before they hit the floor.
