Boy, the orange REALLY likes tubes! So used to seeing animals that are “meh” with them.
Most of the kitties at Love and Hisses love Churu (the tubes). Also, they’re all, without fail, utterly adorable, mama kitties, kittens, and permanent residents alike. Plus Robyn occasionally hits some real heights of authorship, and even when she doesn’t, she’s a great guide.

Girl’s arms are remarkably scratch-free, from what I could see. She’s got the magic touch. I haven’t had to bathe my cats very often, but I always look flayed afterwards.
Also those cats are lovely.
I always put on a long-sleeved turtleneck and long pants–regardless of weather–to bathe a cat. Even so, scratches happen, and the clothes are at risk too, so it’s older, worn stuff where the tears aren’t a big deal.
I have not had to do it often, thankfully, but once in a while s**t happens, literally, and one needs to deal with it.
