Correct me if I’m wrong but after Katrina, don’t most shelters let people bring their animals so long as they’re properly encased or on a leash?
So many people stayed in their cars or out of the shelter because of their pets that people changed their policies.
That would be me. I’d rather stay in my car than abandon my pets
I think it depends on the city/county and how much space is available in the shelter. Plus I’ve been finding policies for many things are going backwards instead improving. I agree if they won’t take my pets, I’ll be in my car.
I think that we can all agree that mama cat has an amazing smile.
