Kangaroo is “alternative livestock” 🤣 That’s a new one.
I thought the Corgi was just bouncing down the stairs at first, like this guy…
I love that Corgi video☺️
Same here!
The photo of Alfie is as disturbing as it gets because it’s from when he is found, from then on he only gets better and better.
OMG!!😳 I would never have guessed that the dog at the beginning was the same as the one at the end!💗
That is QUITE a transformation.
People who throw animals out, to degrade to this extent, should be in JAIL!😠
More people need to put cats and dogs together to see if they can become friends. There should be a database where you can look up which breeds of dogs/cats do well together.👍🏼
Alfie really lucked out. So did his new family. What a lovely boy.
The skateboarding Corgi is amazing! Especially how s/he is using “body sway” to direct the board around. To me that’s more talent than taking the stairs.
I saw the kangaroo story the other day–so glad everything worked out! And I’d definitely be mesmerized by a bouncing roo if I were driving.
Love that corgi on the skateboard!
I love the corgi.
Sorry to nuff, but I have harsh feelings about that guy in Alabama and his petting zoo of non-native animals and exotic pets. Even genuine conservation zoos can be hard to take for some Cutetropolitans, though personally I believe they help to keep some species from becoming extinct. This clown just seems to be in it for profit, no matter how he dresses it up. Teaching giraffes to do tricks and letting kids go on camel rides does not seem safe or in any way good for the animals, nor for human children. This kind of exploitation really gives me the creeps.
How did you find this info? Despite several searches I could only find the escape videos.
I looked up Choctafaula Ranch, which is the name of the business. If it were a non-profit, it normally would list its 501c3 status on the website, which it does not. I also checked using IRS online tools—it’s definitely a for-profit business. The pictures on the website show the range of animals there, all solo (no companions of their species). I also found a story about how a child on a field trip was attacked by an ostrich there. And I found a story where the kangaroo is considered a personal pet, and one (the same one?) mentioning how the giraffe does tricks. It’s sickening.
There’s nothing cute about Choctafaula Ranch, IMO. Those poor animals are being used for greed, plain and simple. And if the ostrich story is any indication, children’s safety is not well assured. Nor are those children being properly educated about the difference between conservation and exploitation.
I want to make it clear that I do NOT blame AJ, nor Mike, for not realizing what the whole story was. Not everyone is as cynical and skeptical as I am (which may mean they’re happier than I am). Also, I’m between jobs and have time on my hands for research.
Even searching the name of the place only confirmed it was for-profit. Very little info about this place, even at their web site, Face book and Instagram. Thank you for your extensive research!
Agree on petting zoos. Many of the critters housed at The Wild Animal Sanctuary come from roadside attractions, and these poor animals usually lived in dreadful conditions before coming to the sanctuary.
I get it.
Lots of so called preserves or sanctuaries aren’t certified or registered with breeding programs.
they call themselves “educational” as a way to sound better but they can get Tiger King” creepy.
We need to put that Kitten Dad in the Men of Cutetropolis calendar.
👍🏼
Yup!
Totally on board. Watching Lilo love on him while she sat on his shoulder–hilarious and heartwarming.
Corgi’s skateboard says it all.
And little Alfie just stole my heart.
