When I come across old things, I like to contextualize it by pasting the year into wikipedia (there’s lots of articles for individual years). That tortoise was born the same year:

That video of the dogs was too short. We need to know the most important question – Who won!!!????? Or are they still locked in a never ending tug of war? Go Goliath! Congrats on finally hatching an heir. And the mom is estimated to be between 85 and 100 years old. Guess they’ll be the oldest couple at their kid’s high school graduation, lol.
