Nothing Gets Past Us Meerkats

Two meerkats stand on the head of a bearded man wearing a baseball cap, seemingly oblivious to him

In the harsh unforgiving home of the meerkat, survival calls for teamwork and vigilance. A keen instinct alerts the family when an intruder is near, and lookouts rush to stand guard.

I love the explaination from the guy in the video (I think it’s from him) – β€œWhen you are wildlife photographer the goal is to blend in with your surroundings so that you don’t scare off the animals”

I say he achieved his goal times 10!!! Love this so much and how unfazed the meerkats are. Cool rock, and even moves so I get a full 360 view.

I would like to gift the meerkats with some boulders to give them better sight lines! They climb on *anyone* on the ground a LOT!😁
I really do miss Meerkat Manor!😒 Hasn’t enough time gone by that a whole new one could be shot?

I would not mind being swarmed by meerkatten. I think their name translates as “more than cats”!
