Grandma Betty has such an adorably grumpy face.

So glad she got help.
Where do I find this product? I bought some Coke yesterday but I didn’t see this one.
Because it is too adorbs!
There should be a limit on cuteness and this one absolutely is over it!
Cable management cat: in France we call this “Système D”, with “D” for “Débrouillard”, meaning clever, resourceful.
“Viens mon pépère !” 😁😁😁
We also have “système D” in Québec but the D stand for “démerde toi” LOL!!!
Gotta love cable cat! Next time I need to snake wires through a wall, I’m calling on one of my trusty felines.
Has anybody else noticed the extreme slowness of the site lately?
Yeah, it’s been slow to load (I got the “confirm your subscription to new comments” email before my first comment even loaded on the page). I also got an error when I first opened it this morning.
Then I got a 504 Gateway Time-out when I tried to post that last one.
Last night I got a “server issue” message. I’ve no doubt NTMTOM is scrambling behind the scenes.
YEP🙄 Glad it’s just not me!
In the last few weeks, I’ve been getting server timeout issues trying to connect. Some days I would connect with no problem in the morning, but when I tried in the afternoon I couldn’t connect. Because another site was also having issues, I assumed it was my ISP. The fact that I could connect using my VPN only seemed to “prove” that theory. Not sure why some days my ISP lets me connect but on others it doesn’t.
However, yesterday and today, I was able to connect to the site, but it did take longer and I kept expecting a time out notification.
Hopefully, Mike’s on a well-deserved vacation!
Very clever use of a cat, gotta say😆
Like how Betty is named after Betty White. Just love her!
Ack! Bunny jump…caught…in the middle👍🏼
Excellent variety this morning☺️
Happy summer holidays, peeps! Well, maybe not so happy… between the jackhammers outside our window at 6:30 am and a deep cat scratch from Mutz followed by a tetanus shot, things aren’t off to a great start. BUT… I’m off til September 1! Currently planning a 4th of July menu.
Oh no! Sorry about the tetanus shot–those are painful. Mutz didn’t mean it, I’m sure.
Mutz got hung up on the fitted sheet. I was just trying to set him free.
Owwww. Poor both of you!
And he gets to ride in the carrier to the vet today. Oh joy…
630am?
If that were me, someone would die.
Definitely not a happy camper. We think that it was a one day thing, but we’ll see in about 9.5 hours.
Day Two: they waited til 7:34!
My sister has similar problem, but for longer. They are expanding the entire length of the street (10 blocks) and have taken a year and a half to do the section between 8 houses (4 on one side, 4 across). They’ve cracked her foundation, torn up her yard and drive up to 6 ft from the house. They are there from 7am-5pm. Traffic is blocked off so no one can come cut her yard and they are fining her! She has MS and has a great deal of difficulty getting around. They wanted her to park a BLOCK away—in the winter!—for 6 mos. (She did finally get that resolved). And somehow get her groceries and anything else to her house—no one was shoveling the walks, she’d have to pay for it. The back of her house is on the river so there is no rear access. She is constantly calling the construction company and the city offices, and NO ONE cares!
She is going…out…of…her…mind!
SORRY😵💫 I was over there this week and I could barely handle it. It’s just INSANE! They say they still have a year to go, but supposedly out of her area by end of summer.😵💫
Dear oh dear oh dear. That is unacceptable on so many levels!
My heart goes out to your sister! A couple of summers ago they were replacing the streetcar rails across the street. They could only work at night. Our bedroom faces the street. Lots of angry calls to public works. No resolution till they finished weeks later
