the orangutans….blew my mind. how can any human not see the intelligence, awareness of self and others, emotions (including snark!) in other living creatures?

Right? Baby’s like, “I wanna try ’em on!” I love his little spike of hair.

That hairstyle just made my day!
I too was impressed that the mom knew exactly how to wear the sunglasses. Amazing.

To be fair, I think they have watched enough humans stroll by with sunglasses to know how they should be worn.
The fact that she threw them back!๐ณ Totally aware of everything around her. Very intelligent they are!

I’ve met a lot of humans with less awareness. Sometimes, alas, I’m one of them myself.

Pitty saving his people, and then the guy he led to them took him in to foster until they could take him back. ๐ญ

Great set of posts this morning. And too many people say pitties are biting monsters, what an amazing and smart doggo to go get help. Then the guy fosters him until his owners are back on their feet?? Best story today. Prancing camel put a smile on my face, Shamy has got the moves. Reminds me of a surfer dude/beach bum type, all happy go lucky, just chilling through life. Orangutan looks fabulous darling! Cracked me up when baby tried grabbing them and momma smacked that hand away. Nope, these are mine!!

I would love to have a friend like Shamy. That snowstorm dance makes me very happy.
