Hippos sink, so they’re denser than water. I’m not clear on how much denser, but combined with being slippery I bet he’s a challenging hoist.

They did not have baby hippos when I went to Tanganyika Wild Animal Park. I did get to feed giraffes, pet a baby panther, and hold lemurs so I shouldn’t complain.
Ok, I’ll never complain about having to hoist a pudgy Frenchie again! At least I don’t have to pick up a hippo.
