ooooh! glad to know its a wombat thing. For some reason I just have a big black square with nothing to click. It’s probably our stupid work internet. I’ll check back again.

For some reason at work I can open youtube directly, but when they’re embedded in the post/comments they don’t work. I get a grey box and when I hover my mouse over it I see “The webpage at [long address with extra gibberish] might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.” I can copy the actual video ID part of the URL from that and then I just go to youtube, open any video, and replace the end of the address. It doesn’t do the same on all pages, though. Other sites I see embedded videos just find.

Speaking of birds, I was leaving for work this morning and a mourning dove was just chilling in the middle of the intersection in my complex. It didn’t even move as I approached, and I had to be careful to turn around it, went really slow so I could look at it and it started walking away, bobbing its head, as I went. There’s something amusing about how pigeons move. I hear the doves fairly frequently but I’m honestly not sure I’ve ever actually seen one. I love to sit on my parents’ deck and listen to them calling from the trees. And one day there must have been one near the vent on my roof because it sounded like it was in my furnace closet!

Loved all the bird photos, so gorgeous and some are just amazing. Had to save a couple for me to “try” painting them. We shall see how successful I am. Kitten Miri is not allowed to be 5, how did that happen!!?? Orange kitty are too cute, curious about how many brain cells are being shared amongst them. Talk about up close and personal with that wombat, how cool was that.

I first came across Maru around the time Will Barden was ending his Youtube video series withe Henri le Chat Noir. Another delightful cat who brought millions of people joy.
Out of 5 ginger kittens, 4 are female?! Usually 1 in 5 ginger cats are female, (the opposite of this litter)
so this is astounding!
