It’s so realistic and lifelike! All my other toys just sit there, but this one actually runs around and makes adorable squeaking sounds!

Reader gets a sweet surprise on Valentine’s Day
Candy may be dandy, but reader and frequent cat contributor Squiddy received an even sweeter treat this past Valentine’s Day:
I got a loaner guinea pig from the Humane Society as part of a rescue from a hoarding situation. She was pregnant and nameless, so, since she looked like a Creamsicle, I called her Sherbet.
I’ve been expecting her to give birth every day since I got her, and finally, the day before Valentines, in the middle of our only snowstorm of the year, it finally happened. She popped out three mini-mes in 20 minutes. They were active from the very first moment and even now are sampling hay and kale along with their mama’s milk.
They’re still a little uncertain about me, since I pick them up all the time and shower them with human pettings and kisses. Mama pig is a lot more laid back in her love than I am.
