Name That Hippo!

The Toronto Zoo needs a name for the pygmy hippo calf born to mother Kindia. The female calf was born August 10, and mother and baby greeted the public for the first time last month. Today’s the last day to vote on one of the four names, so click the link below and vote!

And here she comes! But first mama has to check out the selfie stick in the pool to make sure it’s OK.

Just like we’ve seen with Fiona and her mother Bibi, the new calf likes to play with her mom by biting and exploring her mouth.

There’s a new cute hippo in town!

Your new tiny hippo crush is here, but this one isn’t a preemie, she’s a pygmy. Kindia, a 12-year-old pygmy hippo at the Toronto Zoo, gave birth to a baby girl last month, and now the little one is making a big splash in this newly-released video.
