Since practically the entire world has fallen in love with Fiona, it was inevitable that she would get a love letter. And that, appropriately, it would come from another hippo, named Timothy at the San Antonio Zoo.
Dear Fiona,
My name is Timothy. I have seen you on the internet at the @CincinnatiZoo & you are the most beautiful hippo I have ever seen! Perhaps we can meet someday and be boyfriend and girlfriend? I am single and available. #HippoSwipeRight #TeamFiona
Sincerely,

Hippos are surprisingly fast on land, but even more so in the water, where gravity isn’t an issue and their strong legs propel them like torpedoes. To show us how, here’s Fiona, zooming across her tank at the Cincinnati Zoo. Fire Fiona one!
On this day that’s all about love, here’s a valentine from the most-loved hippo in the world. In this footage never before shared online, the Cincinnati Zoo takes us back to the days when the plucky preemie got cuddles and care and tons of love.
