… I just want you to know that I love you more than any otter’s ever loved a carrot. I’m not just saying that, I really mean it. For me, it goes far beyond your crunchy carroty deliciousness; it’s a deep spiritual experience that I’ll remember for the rest of my life.

Do continue, I find this most fascinating. Unlike many of my hidebound colleagues, who remain content to bang their abalone on rocks like cavemen (the fools!), I am always keen to remain abreast of the latest advancements in shellfish extraction. Our kind must march hand-in-glove with Dame Progress, or surely she will leave us behind.
So this “dynamite” you speak of — does one bang it directly on the shell, or employ it as some sort of lever?
