NBC Peacock: The Early Years

Peacock chick is a Facebook star!

Before blooming into living color, the NBC Peacock was just a humble chick in living sepia. Actually, his name is Drew Peacock, and he’s the pride of the Hairy Farmpit Girls, who raise goats and sell handmade goat milk soaps around Georgia. In addition to becoming a Facebook star, Drew is also a hit at the farmer’s markets where the Farmpit Girls sell their wares. (Thanks to Janice P. for steering me to this one!)

The Following Christmas is Brought to You in Living Color

Here’s one last little holiday leftover that’s too good to save until next year, from readers Kerry & Julie, who write: “Our neighbor was able to photograph our neighborhood peacock, Percy, at just the correct angle, from his front door. Percy was roosting on his front railing.”

Please tell me the doorbell plays the NBC chimes.
